Recording Agreement

The intention of this Agreement is to support the virtual classroom by providing clarity on our recording practices. NVW adheres to strict digital privacy standards designed to ensure the privacy of all students, faculty and other participants whose likeness is represented in the digital environment. In support of this, we request that you sign this agreement so that we can be in alignment in this mutual understanding, and rest together in the safety and confidentiality of the virtual container.

I, the undersigned, hereby enter into this Agreement with New Ventures West (NVW). I have been informed and understand that NVW is recording parts of a program in which I am a participant, and that my likeness, image, appearance and/or performance are being recorded and made a part of that video recording. These recordings are being made in order that they may be used solely for the support of students’ ongoing learning.

1. NVW and I understand these recordings will only be shared with the class in which they were made, unless explicitly agreed upon by all parties contained in said recording.
2. I hereby grant NVW the irrevocable right to use my likeness, image, appearance, and performance as embodied in the recording for the expressed intentions of this agreement
3. NVW and I agree to not share any videos and will review for the sole purpose of my own learning of the method.
4. I confirm that I have the right to enter into this Agreement and hereby give all clearances, copyright and otherwise, for use of my name, likeness, image, voice, appearance, and performance embodied in the Video. I expressly release and indemnify NVW and its successors, assigns and/or licensees from any and all claims including, without limitation, any and all claims for invasion of privacy, infringement of my right of publicity, defamation (including libel and slander) and any other personal and/or other property rights, arising out of or in any way connected with the above granted uses and representations. I agree that I shall not now or in the future assert or maintain any such claim against NVW, its successors, assigns and/or licensees.
5. NVW and I acknowledge that the recording will be used for no other purpose than my own learning and that of my classmates. NVW will not broadcast, exhibit, market, sell or distribute the recording.
