Parking
Parking is available two blocks north at the California Pacific Medical Center garage at 3838 California Street, (on the California St. side, not the Cherry St. side; $35/day). The garage is open from 6am-6pm, and faculty will provide a break around 5:30 to allow you to move your car to the street.
On weekdays, street parking is restricted to 2-hours either by meters or by residential permits, and both are strictly enforced. Click here for a local parking map. There will NOT be breaks provided in the class to move your car during this time.
Street parking is free during weekends on the adjoining side streets.
Due to limited parking options, particularly on weekdays, we recommend taking public transportation or ride share services.

From downtown:
- Take BART to Montgomery Street Station (downtown SF).
- Walk to Geary Street, which intersects Market.
- Take the westbound #38 Geary bus to the Commonwealth stop (1 block before Stanyan/Jordan). Note: Geary express busses #38R & #38BX stop instead at Arguello. If you get on an express bus, get off at Arguello and walk back two blocks to Jordan. The #38AX does not stop in our area.
