Stella Strazdas
As a coach, Stella has a thoughtful and integrative approach, bringing together multiple disciplines working with the leadership holistically to unlock their full potential and impact. Engagements are agreed upon with the client with a focus on purpose and outcomes to create an integrated development plan, including practices. Each development plan is uniquely designed in partnership with the client and addresses multiple areas of oneÕs life to ensure a sustaining shift towards the Ònew wayÓ of being and leading. Engagement may be six to twelve months, with a focus on empowering the individual towards sustainability.
Prior to her career as an executive coach, Stella was a successful senior global Human Resources leader for more than 20 years across multiple fortune 500 firms, including Merck & Co., Inc., Hoffman LaRoche, and Unilever. She was Worldwide Vice President, Human Resources for the Medical Devices Sector-Global Surgery with Johnson & Johnson (JNJ). In her years with J&J, she led regional and global teams in both the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices sectors, with a focus on Global as well as the regions of Latin America, Asia Pacific, and North America. Stella is experienced in organizational cultures, diverse business models and navigating complex business eco-systems as well as navigating matrix structures, including partnerships and alliances. Her coaching clients include individuals with key life transition goals as well as leaders across high-tech sector, health care, fashion, retail, insurance, banking, non-profits as well as non-governmental agencies across the globe.
Stella is a co-leader of ÒCoaching Para La Evolucion,Ó an ICF accredited Spanish virtual coaching school connected to New Ventures West, California and Coaching for Development, Centre for Coaching, South Africa. She is a Mentor within the Re-Vision Academy, an Ecosystem of change agents in both private and public sector across Latin America. Her commitment to non-profits, includes being a board member of Film Forum, a non-profit independent film theatre in NYC as well as a Coach and Guide with The Enneagram Prison Project, offering self-awareness development and training to those incarcerated as well as public programs.
She has a Master in Public Health from New York University, a Master in Social Work from University of Toronto as well as a Bachelor Degree in International Business and Human Resources Management from Upsala College. She has been an adjunct professor at NYU for the Stern and Wagner Schools in Management. Stella is certified as an Integral Coach (New Ventures West), an Enneagram Practitioner (The Narrative Tradition), a Professional Certified Coach with International Coaching Federation. She is certified in the use of Hogan and The Margerison-McCann Team Management Profile. Fluent in English and Spanish, with an understanding and basic levels in French and Italian.
