Sarah-Marie Hopf
As a certified integral coach, I support my clients in embodying new ways of being so that they can navigate and respond to their work/life with more creativity, intentionality, and resilience. We address a clientÕs coaching topic systemically to help them more fully access the intelligence of their head, heart, and body and shift how they relate to themselves, others, and the world.Ê In my coaching practice, I draw on my experience exploring the intersections of individual/institutional transformation, human-centered design, (social) innovation, and education. I bring deep compassion, mindfulness, systems thinking, design thinking, and multicultural sensitivity to addressing my clientsÕ coaching topics. I also draw on my learnings from my own ongoing inner work and development journey and experience as a long-time meditation, yoga, and Pilates practitioner.Ê IÕm the founder of Thriving in a Noisy World through which I support leaders and changemakers in navigating work/life in the digital age with greater mindfulness, effectiveness, and resilience. Thriving in a Noisy World offers workshops, retreats and labs, and integral coaching for purpose-driven individuals and organizations. In an age of distraction and noise, our approach focuses on developing quiet competencies and skills for greater mindfulness, resilience, and effectiveness. Ê Previously, I led Changemaker Campus Selection at Ashoka U, supporting and equipping intrapreneurial educators and their teams at universities globally to embed social innovation into their culture, programming and operations. I also have experience in consulting, education and research at the intersection of human-centered design, social innovation, and global development in South and Southeast Asia. IÕm currently part of Jack Kornfield and Tara BrachÕs 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program, certified through UC BerkeleyÕs Greater Good Science Center and the Awareness Training Institute. I graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College with a BA with Honors in Anthropology modified with Economics and Development Studies. IÕm also a RSA Fellow, StartingBloc Fellow, Hive Global Leader, and member of Sandbox, a global network of changemakers. A German-American, I have lived in the US, Europe, and South and Southeast Asia, and have worked with organizations and individuals globally. IÕm committed to creating space for authentic human connection and living the questions.
