Robert Wagner
Robert has substantial leadership experience in several economic sectors. Drawing upon the commonalities across those sectors Robert has developed a sound foundation to support leaders and those who are considering leadership roles.
19 years as an educator. Started as a math teacher-administrator (for athletics and discipline). From a single public school, helped the non-profit network grow and rose to run a school for seven years, then the network of 30 schools (15,000 students) as superintendent.
16 years in manufacturing. Innovated to improve processes, build domestic and international teams, and serve customers to earn their trust and sole-sourcing contracts in both start-ups and Fortune 50 companies. Consistently cracked leadership and relational problems others could not solve.
12 years as an Air Force officer (7 years in the reserves). Took leadership roles right out of the Air Force Academy, both among peers and within military units. Developed the capacity for finance, planning, operations and logistics management while running major support operations on three different bases. Worked at the headquarters on the PresidentÕs budget for the Air Force.
As a community member, presided over a home community association during a major landscaping conversion, raised funds for MS, ALS, and local shelters, and re-envisioned a local junior highÕs student-of-the-year program to appeal to all students. Significantly involved in registering voters and raising awareness of matters affecting community life.
