Bradley Young
I'm a thirty year bay area resident living in Oakland. I often notice how things have changed in that time, how I have changed (mind, body, and spirit), and constantly curious about my place in it all and how I'm evolving. I can look back and see the different people I have have encountered and the experiences that I've had and wonder..."how did I get here?" I have times when I move fluidly, and times when I get stuck and need help. It's sort of a human thing, I guess.
I've been a Diamond Approach student since 2004 with prior experience in and out of Buddhist communities and retreat settings. This has led to a rich practice of staying and inquiring with what is happening in this moment to develop a deeper understanding of who I am. My studies with New Ventures West and my coaching practice give me the tools and insight into how to turn that understanding in to more meaningful action in the world.
I think it is important to keep reminding ourselves and each other that we are in the middle of a human experience involving trial and error, mistakes and success, stagnation and growth. What it will be today I don't know, but it is probably a great deal more interesting than I realize and deserves my attention.
I am a certified coach through New Ventures West in addition to a certification through the NeuroLeadership Institute. I have also earned the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
