Honored with the order of merit as a most outstanding student member of the Department of Psychology at the University of California at Irvine, Dr. Perczek went on to receive his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami. He then completed his clinical internship on Behavioral Medicine at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System and his clinical licensure requirements as a distinguished research scientist scholar at Stanford University. Dr. Perczek also served as an assistant professor of Medicine at the University of Miami where he was recognized for his research and teaching of a whole-system approach to positive psychology and improved quality of life.

In 2001, he founded Ruben Perczek Inc, an organizational consulting company based in Miami, Florida, specializing in coaching business and social leaders and their senior teams to function more effectively and creatively. His strong academic background and whole-systems integral framework of human experience provide a strong foundation for leading complex individual and large-scale positive organizational shifts.

His organizational initiatives have ranged from leadership development and management optimization to strengthening group and team alliances in both business and non-profit project management. His most recent clients include Ricoh Latin America, Discovery Networks, Layetana, and the Office for Government Innovation in Mexico.

Originally from Colombia, Dr. Perczek is fluent in Spanish and also fluent on the tennis court. Before entering the field of understanding of human beings and their transformation, he was a world-class tennis player.
